Can I ride with no experience?

Whether you are a first time rider or an experienced rider, our staff will make sure that you feel comfortable riding your horse.

What should we wear?

In effort to keep you and your horse safe and comfortable we recommend wearing closed toed shoes preferably with a low heel, preferably jeans or long pants and long sleeve tops. Please keep cell phones, purses, bags and backpacks in your vehicle.

Do you provide helmets?

Helmets are available for any guests who would like to wear one. It is required by law, for guests under 18 to wear a helmet.

Do you have weight restrictions?

Please note, due to our insurance our maximum weight is 270 lbs and we must follow a BMI chart. We are unable to take riders whom fall in the red (table below)

I have a large group interested in riding together, how many can you accomodate per ride?

Hour Ride: 15 maximum

Breakfast Ride: 10 maximum

Two Hour: 12 maximum

Dinner Ride: 12 maximum

If I book a ride, what happens if it rains? Does it cancel and refund? or does the ride continue no matter what the weather is doing?

In the case of rain, if we feel the weather is not acceptable for riding we will call you directly to cancel your ride and refund.

How far are you from Lake George?

We are eight minutes away from downtown Lake George.

Can we book a Breakfast Ride, or Dinner Rider in the Spring or Fall

At this time, we are not able to offer these rides until the summer months.

Do you offer horseback riding lessons?

At this time, we offer a brief description at the begining of each ride. We currently do not offere horseback riding lessons.

Can we ride double on the saddle on the horse?

Due to insurance, only one rider per horse.

Can we gallop?

Due to insurance these are walk rides only.

Can we request another day for the breakfast or dinner ride?

For a group we may consider other days, if available, please call us directly to discuss.

For the Breakfast Ride or Dinner Ride, Do you have a gluten free option? Do you have a vegetarian option? Do you have a vegan option?

We do accommodate gluten free and vegetarian food choices.
