UNFORGETABLE WESTERN EXPERIENCE

Wander the winding forest trail, find your rhythm with your horse, and let the trail lead you.

ONE HOUR RIDE

Four people horseback riding on a trail through lush green trees.

Saddle up with Mountain View Ranch cowboys and cowgirls and follow the same trails once ridden by the first settlers of these mountains. The trail winds gently through the heart of the Adirondack forest at the base of Beech Mountain, where sunlight filters through tall pines and the air carries the scent of pine and leather. The terrain is mostly flat with gentle rolling slopes an easy ride that lets you take in the beauty around you. You’ll cross a quiet forest brook and catch glimpeses of the rugged mountain ridges rising inthe distance. Its the perfect adventure for beginners or anyone looking to slow down and soak in the Adirondacks. Our most popular ride, be sure to book early and come make memories that will last a lifetime.

  • For most of us, horseback riding was a first time experience. The family owned business is by far wonderful and friendly. As a group of eight inexperienced riders, our tour guides, including the lovely six year old Fallon, who joined our group, were experienced and fun. The guides took us on a one hour ride through beautiful trails. We trotted and laughed, really enjoying our ride. Fallon was the cutest little guide, and funny, as well. I loved my horse, Lily. Definitely a place to visit on your trip to Lake Luzerne or Lake George. We are definitely going back!

  • We really enjoyed our ride through the wooded trail. The guides were nice, the horses matched our riding level appropriately, and we felt comfortable. The horses are well cared for and clean. We would definitely come here again.
