A NEW HIGHER PERSPECTIVE OF THE ADIRONDACKS

TWO HOUR MOUNTAIN TRAIL RIDE

Saddle up for a true Adirondack mountain adventure. Your journey begins at the base of Beech Mountain, where the trail winds through a canopy of tall pines and the smell of pine and leather fill the air. As you and your horse find your rhythm the climb begins steady and sure over rock and root, through quiet stretches of forest and the crisp mountain breeze.

Reaching the summit at 1,470 feet the trees fall away to reveal the Adirondack Park spread out before you. Lake George shimmers in the distance and for a moment, the world feels still. You’ll pause to take in the sweeping views, and breath in the crisp mountain air before mounting up again for the ride home. As you descend the trail, the sun begins its descent too, casting a warm golden glow through the trees, and the steady rhythm of hoofbeats carries you peacefully back down the mountain.

This unforgettable ride is perfect for those seeking adventure, tranquility, and a new, higher perspective of the Adirondacks.

All rides begin with a western trail riding lesson with practice on the trail thereafter.

  • A truly unique way to see the beautiful landscape of the Adirondacks! We booked onto the Two Hour Mountain Ride, Beech Mountain. When we arrived the staff were helpful and welcoming. We rode Rachel and Freckles (two beautiful mares). From start to finish the landscape we travelled through on horseback was spectacular and we felt the ride offered a special perspective of the forest and mountain landscapes.

  • It was so amazing! My dad and I choose the Two Hour Ride and the view at the top of the mountain is just spectacular! Ella was an excellent guide, giving us background about the area and even how the Ranch was able to get the rights to the mountaintop. Ella and the rest of the staff are so knowledgable about the area and the horses. I didnt have a set place to go horseback riding up in the Lake George Area, but you bet Ill be back to Mountain View Rocking B Ranch the next time I'm up this way! Thank you guys so much for such an awesome experience and I'm looking forward to coming back and reuniting with my girl Jazzy!
